5. Development of the cheesemaking industry

5.1. Olomoucké tvarůžky

In the centre of the room is a tvarůžky moulding machine from the 1950s and in the corner is a tvarůžky washing machine. On the walls there is an overview of where the production of Olomoucké tvarůžky is documented and where it was produced in Loštice. There is also a Wessels family tree composed in terms of tvarůžky production. Furthermore there is the period of the socialisation of tvarůžky factories (1949-1989). At that time, dozens of tvarůžkárna disappeared. The original factory of Karl and Františka Pivný returned to its original owners and underwent a general reconstruction.

5.2. Modern production and a film about contemporary production

A film about the today's production of the curd cheese, starting by purchase of curd, through its shaping and ripening till its distribution to the customer, is screened in a decorated environment, including the equipment used for modern production of the ripened curd cheese.
